Last weekend, Anne and I went to Disneyland Paris. We booked it through Oad, a traveling agency. We found a really cheap 3 day trip, including hotel, bus ride, breakfast and two day entrance to both Disney parks. So on Friday morning, we drove to Arnhem because that was were the bus would pick us up. It was quite a long bus ride so we watched a movie, Source Code, to kill time.
We arrived at the hotel around 2/3pm. After checking in to the hotel room, we took the shuttle bus to the Disney parks. We didn’t have tickets to go inside the parks on Friday, but if you want to visit Disney Village, you don’t need any tickets so that’s what we did. A little while later we took the metro to Val d’Europe, only one stop away from Disneyland. There was a massive shopping mall so we spent most of our time there on Friday.
On Satuday, we were going to Disneyland itself. We woke up early, had breakfast and took the shuttle bus. The parks are so beautiful. There really is a magical atmosphere. It feels as if you’re walking through a fairytale. Colorful buildings, happy people, music etc. The attractions were much fun as well. There were long waiting lines, but gladly there were fast passes. If you get one, you can come back later and skip the normal line. Space mountain and the tower of terror were two of my favorites! Saturday was a very ‘productive’ day and it ended it with beautiful fireworks.
Waking up on Sunday was hard. The day before was really fun but soo exhausting. We only had 4 hours in the parks on Sunday so before going there, we decided which attractions we wanted to visit. But when we arrived at the parks, it turned out to be so crowded. There were lines that lasted longer than 2 hours. We were lucky that we ended up doing much more on Saturday than we had planned so we only missed out on 2 attractions. Around 2pm, we went back to the hotel since it was time to go home. On the bus ride back home we watched two movies, Inception and Fury. It was such a fun, exhausting and magical weekend. I really hope to go back to Disneyland someday!
