This year was quite a big year for me. I started university, moved to Amsterdam, but before all that happened, I went to the US for two months. All by myself. I haven’t shared much about it on this blog, but I have on my travel blog. Something I still love to do is look back at all the wonderful things I’ve done and seen. I also still have contact with some of the people I met during those 2 months, which is so fun! If I had the opportunity to go on a long solo trip again, I would take it right away. What I want to do first is finish university and after that I’ll see where I will go next. Thinking about Australia/New-Zealand/Asia. But let’s not look ahead to much. They also tell you not to look back too much, but when I look at all the pictures I’ve taking during those two months, all I can do is smile. What I’m going to do from now on, is share some of my favorite pictures from my trips, every once in a while. Starting with:
New York City.
I was in New York City for 3 weeks, so I had enough time to explore the city in a slow pace. No need to rush. But in the end I still didn’t do everything that I wanted to do. It’s such a big and overwhelming city. West Village, Central Park, Williamsburg, watching the sun set from Brooklyn Bridge, all the tall skyscrapers, fooooood, the lights, the cars. One day I will go back. I’m absolutely sure. There’s still so much to explore.
I wrote a few posts about NYC. Here are the links:
What do you think of the pictures? Have you been to New York City?
