Every now and then, I take a look at some older pieces that are in my wardrobe. They end up somewhere, unused. While still being of good quality. I think it’s important to look at all the items you have, before buying new stuff. This red coat is one of those items. I’ve had it for (I think) 6 years now. It looks good, so why not wear it again? I don’t need a new coat, when this one is still wearable right? A lot of people are so caught up in buying buying buying. Fast fashion. Bad for the planet, bad for people. Better for the wallet. Maybe. I’m trying to change my buying habit. I want to buy more sustainable, buy less, wear older items, maybe swap clothes with friends, go to more vintage stores to buy more unique pieces. Being more sustainable is something you do step by step. And I’m excited!
When was the last time you had a good look at your wardrobe, and discovered some older but still wearable pieces?
